As much as I usually find myself listening to music when in the car or at home doing chores, I like to change it up every once in awhile with a podcast episode (or binge). I love a good story, and, seeing as I don’t own a TV, it’s a great way to relax at the end of the day when I’m cooking, doing laundry or working on drawing homework-it doesn't demand as much attention as say, a movie or TV show. Here are a few of my favorites!
99% Invisible | I enjoy this podcast for two main reasons--it deals with design, but often indirectly. I’ll be honest, I’m pretty OD-ed on design speak or ideas after nearly two years of graduate school, and this one keeps me interested. Second reason? Roman Mars’ voice. Boom.

TED Radio Hour | This is one of my favorite weekly listens, usually while I’m doing my meal prep for the week! The stories are thought-provoking, but easy to digest, and there’s something for everyone.
On Being | Good for long car rides or if I find myself feeling extra contemplative.
Modern Love | I’ve always loved this column in the New York Times, and the podcast is just as good. And yeah, sometimes I cry.
Radiolab | Every now and then this gal needs a science fix, and I can usually count on this podcast for a random, humorous and science-related story that isn't overly sciency.
What are your faves? I'd love to hear!
